Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps

Air and ground source heat pumps are the most efficient use for electricity to heat and cool your home today. As a benefit of membership, Heartland REC offers rebates for the purchase and installation of air and ground source heat pumps.

Heat Pumps Rebate

Air Source Heat Pumps must be a minimum size of two tons and meet or exceed current Energy Star Standards
Rebate amounts for air-source heat pumps are :

$150 per ton for a 14.5 SEER
$200 per ton for a 15.5 SEER
$250 per ton for a 16.5 SEER

Ground source heat pumps must be at least two tons and meet or exceed current Energy Star Standards. Heartland REC rebate amounts for ground-source heat pumps are $150 per 1/2 ton.

Electric Water Heaters Electric water heaters of between 40 and 60 gallons must have a minimum energy factor of .93. Electric water heaters of 60 gallons or greater must have a minimum energy factor of .91. Electric Water Heater Rebates Since no flue is required and there is no constant flame, electric water heaters offer a simple, safe and efficient solution to heat water. With an electric water heater rebate from Heartland REC, they are an affordable solution.

Rebate amount for all lifetime electric water heaters is $300
