When power lines remain clear from trees and other vegetation, electricity has a reliable path to follow. This is why your cooperative invests heavily in maintaining right-of-way clearances near power lines. Cooperative right-of-way personnel are trained in the latest use of chemical applications and equipment processes for the clearing and the removal of right-of-way obstructions. Increased reliability of electrical service to your home and business is the result of this effort.

For your convenience, Heartland has included a table of overhead power line clearances. If you should see right-of-way obstructions in Heartland's power lines, please call your co-op at 1-888-835-9585 to help Place your computer mouse over each recommended clearance for an application illustration.
