Add Contacts in SmartHub Video Tutorial
Written Instructions
Step 1
Sign in to your account using your email address and password you set up during registration.
Step 2
On the SmartHub home screen, click on ‘Notifications’ in the top menu bar.
Step 3
Click ‘Manage Contacts’ in the middle of the sub-menu.
Step 4
Click ‘Add E-Mail Contact’ to receive emails or click ‘Add Phone Contact’ to receive text messages.
Step 5
If adding an e-mail contact, click the e-mail button and follow the prompts. If adding a phone contact, see the following steps.
Step 6
Enter the desired phone number, check the box labeled ‘Receive Text Messages’, and click ‘Continue’.
Step 7
Review the text message terms and conditions and click Agree to continue.
Step 8
The added phone number will receive a verification code via text message. Enter the code in the ‘Phone Verification Code’ field and click ‘Save Contact’.
Step 9
Congratulations! You have successfully added your contact. Visit the Manage Notifications menu to assign notifications to it.
