- From midnight to 4 a.m., those on this rate can charge their electric vehicles for just over 4 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh)
- Time of Use EV is available exclusively to owners of electric vehicles
Bill Components
- Service availability charge: $39
- Energy charge:
- $0.192878 per kWh on peak (3 to 8 p.m.);
- $0.083710 per kWh off peak (8 p.m. to midnight and 4 a.m. to 3 p.m.);
- $0.040994 per kWh super-off-peak (midnight to 4 a.m.)
- Same energy charges apply 365 days a year
- Peak charge: none

Eligibility
- Only consumer-members with level 2 or 3 electric vehicle chargers installed at their Heartland service locations are eligible for the Time of Use EV rate
- An EV rebate process incorporating an inspection is in the works and may be required in order for a consumer-member to switch to the Time of Use EV rate in the future
