Step 2 Sign in to your account using your email address and password you set up during registration. Step 3 From the home screen, tap on the "More..." button in the bottom right. Step 4 Locate and tap on the Settings menu. Step 5 Locate and tap on the Contact Methods sub-menu. Step 6 Tap the Email icon and follow the prompts, or if adding a phone contact, tap Phone and see the following steps. Step 7 Enter the desired phone number, tap the slider labeled ‘Receive Text Messages,’ and tap ‘Continue.’ Step 8 Review the text message terms and conditions and tap Accept to continue. Step 9 The added phone number will receive a verification code via text message. Enter the code, tap ‘Verify,’ and you’re set!

Step 4 Locate and tap on the Settings menu. Step 5 Locate and tap on the "Manage Notifications" sub-menu. Step 6 Choose between Billing, Miscellaneous, On Demand, or Service. (Peak Day notifications are within the On Demand section). Step 7 For each option you want to get notifications for, toggle the option for either Text Message or E-Mail. Step 8 Congratulations! You have just set up notifications on your account.

Step 3 From the home screen, tap on the 'More..' button in the bottom right Step 4 Locate and tap on the Settings menu. Step 5 Locate and tap on the Paperless Billing sub-menu. Step 6 Locate the account(s) you would like to activate Paperless Billing on and slide the toggle to the right next to each account. Step 7 A pop-up window will ask if you are sure you want to set the account to paperless. Tap the Yes button to confirm. Step 8 You will then see a confirmation that the paperless bill status has been successfully changed. Tap the Close button to finish. Step 9 Congratulations! You have successfully activated paperless billing on your account!

Step 2 Sign in to your account using your email address and password you set up during registration. Step 3 From the home screen tap on the ‘Bill & Pay’ button in the bottom left. Step 4 From the Bill & Pay screen, locate and tap on the ‘Auto Pay Program’ menu. Step 5 If you have more than one account, select the one you wish to enroll in Auto Pay. Otherwise, the Auto Pay Terms and Conditions will display. Step 6 On the next screen, you will be asked to accept our Auto Pay Terms & Conditions. Tapon the ‘Accept’ button to continue. Step 7 On the Auto Pay Program page, tap the ‘Add New’ button and follow the prompts to connect your bank account or credit card.

Step 2 Search for SmartHub and look for the SmartHub icon. Follow the instructions to install the app on your device. Step 3 Once the app installs, tap the SmartHub icon on your device to open the app. Step 4 After SmartHub opens to the initial launch screen, tap the appropriate button to search by Name. Step 5 Search for the name Heartland Rural Electric Cooperative and tap on our name in the search results list. Step 6 Tap the Confirm button to confirm your choice. Step 7 From the SmartHub login screen, look for the link that says Don’t have an account? Register now. Step 8 Fill out the registration form completely and tap the Continue button. Step 9 On the security check screen, answer all of the security questions and tap the Register button again. Step 10 After you tap the Registration button, you will receive an email that will ask you to Verify Account. Step 11 Open the email and tap on the Verify Account button. Step 12 The next step will ask you to set your new password on your account. Type your new password in twice and tap Save. Step 13 If you would like to activate Paperless Billing move the Activate Paperless Billing slider to the right and tap Save. Step 14 Congratulations! You have successfully installed the app and registered your SmartHub account!
